ALL SOULS DAY INURNMENT
Calvary Cemetery is offering our annual opportunity for families to inurn human cremains they have in their possession again.
This year the All Souls Day Inurnment is scheduled for Tuesday, November 2, at 3:00 p.m. There is no cost for these inurnments. We only open this crypt once a year for these inurnments and the panel on the crypt will not include the names of those inurned there. Families can purchase a brick/paver engraved with their loved one’s name to be placed on the ground by the crypt. Information on ordering those will be handed out to families on the day of the event or can be requested ahead of time. The cost of the bricks will be $250.00. The cemetery will keep a record of all who are inurned in the crypt.
Please contact the office at 402-476-8787 #1, or email calvary@cdolinc.net to receive and complete the required authorization paperwork. This must be completed and received to the office by October 28th to inurn a loved one. Urns labeled with the loved one’s name, date of death and date of birth, will need to be checked into the cemetery office between 2:15pm-2:45pm on November 2nd prior to the committal service that will begin at 3:00 p.m. Cemetery director, Monsignor Timothy Thorburn will preside over the service.
